We are a dynamic and multidisciplinary team leading the digital transformation of our company’s operations. Our mission is to deliver a robust digital framework that supports all shop floor processes across our global presence. We are involved end-to-end in the digital solution lifecycle—from design to deployment and hyper care—acting as product owners or subject matter experts. Our work requires strong analytical thinking to break down complex operational flows and design seamless integrations that bring value to both the business and the shop floor. Serving as the bridge between digital teams and plant operations, we represent the digital side to the plants and the operational reality to digital developers. Our current initiatives span key areas such as Order-to-Cash, Global Management Systems, and our AI Roadmap. Each team member plays an active role across all these initiatives, contributing with expertise, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Systems Engineer you will work as part of the global and/or site engineering team, to lead and/or support deployment of digital industrial as well as business support for the solutions. The development and integration of digital with industrial processes, as well of identification of business requirements are the base of your work. You will play a critical role in the interaction between digital and business being the first level of contact for DOS for diagnostic and problem solving. You need to understand the complexity of the environment the Digital operation system operate in, while providing industrial processes improvement feedback toward the Digital Logoplaste framework. As a Manufacturing Systems Engineer, you will apply working knowledge of the manufacturing processes and interactions between digital and processes twin to support the production of high-quality product, on time and in full.
Key tasks & Activities:
Project Management
- Manage deploy and adoption of existing Digital Operations tools as part of the scaling program to our plants.
- Performs initial assessments of the plant’s current digital setup, conducts gap analyses, and identifies requirements for change requests and system enhancements.
- Manages relationships with the supplier, plant, corporate, digital team and in some cases the client for projects handled by the team (only in the implementation step, not in project scope and requirements definition step)
- Leads the hyper care phase as the single point of contact for projects under their responsibility.
- Proposes ideas to support effective change management, recognizing that digital tool implementation requires behavioral adoptation.
Business Support
- Is the first level of Digital Operations Systems ongoing support and interaction with business related with digital operation solutions implemented for the plants.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots issues and manages the solution with the responsible area.
- Performs data analysis as a subject matter expert and shares insights and knowledge with the business.
- Identifies continuous improvement opportunities in the digital side related to known projects.
- Monitors KPI already defined by the team, conducting periodical analyses from different systems in order to assure data consistency.
- Identifies operational gaps when the project is deployed and suggests small improvements regarding new processes that might need to be added.
Training and Development
- Manages with the different counterparts the deployment tasks: tests, go live, training and training material for projects handled by the team;
- Gives regular training in tools installed in each facility.
Who we are looking for…
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other if you believe you can be a fit;
- Entry-level opportunity with prior exposure to manufacturing or operations a plus- whether through academic experience or prior internships
Technical Skills
- Digital ecosystem from user perspective: Microsoft Tools, AI tools, Digital specific tools
- Fluent in English.
