Logoplaste is looking for a Production Manager to join our Management Team in Elst. You are closely involved on the shop floor, inspiring and motivating employees and setting clear, achievable requirements to optimize performance. You will be engaged in the continuous improvement of various processes, striving for the highest standards of quality, efficiency and business excellence. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills. In this position you will be responsible for a team of 50 employees and report directly to the Plant Manager.

Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting support to the team, foster excellent inter-departmental relations, and oversee personnel for key programs and projects.
  • Establish and oversee procedure, production, and quality standards in the assigned area, setting clear performance evaluation goals.
  • Enhance workforce capabilities through effective supervision, coaching, and training, focusing on leadership, team development, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate labor and materials in line with the production schedule, ensuring clear communication of plans and strategies within the department.
  • Daily monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), making recommendations to address quality, safety, and production issues.
  • Analyze and report on budget versus forecast, developing continuous improvement strategies.
  • Handle departmental scheduling, relationship management with stakeholders
  • Participate in hiring processes, maintain facility equipment standards, and contribute to sustainability and corporate social responsibility efforts.
  • Managing preventive maintenance performance and repair of production equipment.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure continuity of integrated requirements according FSSC 22000 & ISO 45001 norms.
  • Management of master recipes.
  • Coordinate refurbishment plan for production equipment.
  • Manage and control key production suppliers to ensure continuity of the production process.
  • Execute data in SAP / MII.
  • Coordinate and manage energy management goals for production.

 

Who we are looking for…

Profile

  • Minimum HBO which is relevant to this work.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven Leadership skills.
  • Hands-on mentality is essential for this role.
  • Decisive and closely involved with the shop floor.

Technical skills

  • Fluent Dutch and English is essential both spoken and written.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP.

Working hours
