Logoplaste UK, are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to support the Plant Engineering Team and Plant Manager.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will manage a team of 8 Engineers. You will also be responsible for continuous improvements of plant production lines and ancillary equipment to help minimize downtime and maximize efficiencies.

Key tasks & Activities

  • As a Maintenance Manager you will have full responsibility for all aspects of the maintenance team; including machine efficiencies, losses optimization, validators of suppliers and training.
  • Execute and enforce the Preventative Maintenance Plan
  • Ensures the management of the warehouse of technical parts, identifying critical parts as well as the necessary physical inventories
  • Analyze breakdowns of equipment
  • Participate in actions for cost reductions
  • Plans, directs, manages and delivers projects regarding maintenance or equipment improvements
  • Team Coordination – coordinate the maintenance activities carried out by the maintenance team and / or service providers
  • Ensuring maintenance team has a timely response to plant issues
  • You will have a good working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety.

 

Who we are looking for..

Background and Experience

  • The ideal candidate should have leadership experience.
  • Strong mechanical maintenance experience and demonstrated an understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Good logical thought process regarding fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Experience in Automation and Packaging machines in production environment would be advantageous

 

Technical Skills

  • Experience in plastics manufacturing and knowledge in Blow Moulding,
  • Knowledge of PLC’s and Inverter drives would be advantageous.
  • 18th edition would be advantageous.
  • Proficient with PC based systems (Excel, SAP) to oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs, although training will be given
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety
