Job Summary
The IT Technical Communication Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing digital platforms that support Corporate Communications' internal communication efforts.
This role ensures that content is up-to-date, platforms function seamlessly, and employees have access to well-structured and engaging resources. Your job will be to oversee internal communication tools, collaborate with IT and external vendors for platform improvements, and support HR teams in their platforms and system’s needs.
Key tasks & Activities
Platform Management – Umbraco & CV Warehouse
- Liaises with the technical teams to report errors and implement changes
- Creates, updates, and removes modules, sections, and page content
- Interprets and optimizes requests from HR teams for better platform usability.
- Uploads news, create new menus, and develop complex sub-sites
- Maintains homepage content, including movies, banners, and hyperlinks.
- Ensures corporate platforms functionality by working closely with the IT Departement and third party vendors
- Monitors corporate system updates and implement new versions while preserving functionality.
- Proactively adds value to platform developments and user experience improvements.
Microsoft 365 Communication Tools Administration:
- In SharePoint creates pages, subsites, and manages permissions.
- Ensures consistency with design templates and usability standards.
- Implements and enhances SharePoint platform features for user adoption.
- Collaborates with external vendors for tailored module development
- Manages and optimizes all of Microsoft’s 365 Apps
- Acts as a power user for Office communication tools, ensuring best practices in internal communication.
LogoTV - Logoplaste Corporate TV - Administration
- Creates and manages playlists and schedules for internal communication, using Samsung’s Magic Info platform.
- Uploads and edits content using the web author module.
- Identifies and reports broadcast issues, liaising with IT for resolution.
- Collaborates with IT for new display setups and enhancements.
Who we are looking for…
Background and Experience
- Bachelor`s degree in Digital Platforms, IT, or related fields.
- 1 - 3 years of relevant professional experience in content management, intranet/web platform administration, or IT support.
Technical Skills
- Previous experience with Umbraco, SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (verbal and written).
Interpersonal Skills
- Service-oriented mindset, dedicated to supporting internal clients efficiently.
- Critical analysis and prioritization with the ability to assess and sequence tasks effectively, especially in interconnected projects.
- Project ownership, being capable of managing projects from inception to completion, proactively identifying risks and seeking support when necessary.
- Provides reporting and feedback.
- Strong team player with ability to collaborate, contribute ideas, and follow leadership directives.
