Logoplaste UK is currently seeking to recruit a Team Leader in Dumfries.

 

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Team Leader will be required to work as an integral part of the production team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach, including administrative tasks.

 

Key tasks & Activities…

 

  • Managing a safe working environment, PPE auditing and site cleanliness
  • Ensure quality is maintained across all production.
  • Manage and progress your team to fulfil production needs.
  • Keep the daily operations of the organisation flowing smoothly. Providing support, direction and assistance to the team in all areas
  • Accurate recording of material and product movements
  • Actively managing the development of the team. Ensuring people are working through their training matrix.
  • Leading the induction and training of new starters on your team.
  • Responsible for actively managing any capability or conduct issues and following through with formal processes and procedures.
  • Cover Team Leader duties across the shift in conjunction with your fellow Team Leaders
  • Create and sustain a culture that is aligned to Logoplaste’s corporate values and principles by role-modelling behaviours, motivating, encouraging, and recognising the contribution of Team Members

 

Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Have a broad range of experience in different areas of production.
  • Experienced in the Logoplaste production and supply processes.
  • Demonstrate recognised levels of competence that are consistent with the role.
  • Demonstrate potential to lead, engage, train and develop direct reports.

Technical Skills

  • Competent in using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Previous experience of Graham Wheel/EBM/ISBM machines would be advantageous.
  • Leadership skills and ability to identify training needs.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety.
  • Capability to train on production lines under your management.

People skills

  • Positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude at all times
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential for this position.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritisation.
  • Leadership skills and identifying training needs on shift.
  • Experience in providing support to the team, continuously driving performance.
  • Effective communicator at all levels
  • Effective trouble shooter

 

Training will be given to the right candidate.

Part of the interview process may include a written test.
