Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Quality/Health & Safety (QHSE) Coordinator to join the team in Rome, NY (USA).

Reporting to: Production Manager

The QHSE Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the plants' Health & Safety, Quality Management and Environmental Systems.

Key Tasks & Activities...

Auditing/Systems:
- Performs risk assessments
- Participates in Health & Safety meetings
-Performs Internal Auditing
- Analyzes Monthly HSE KPI statistics -Updates the ISO 18001 H&S system

Quality Control:

-Performs first off checks

-Performs Internal Auditing

-Updates IMTE calibrations

-Reports Monthly KPI Data

-Updates Intravista system regarding BRC, Health, Safety and Environmental global standards

Administration/Reporting

-Reports Near misses

- Establishes (RCA) Root Cause Analysis and closure)

-Investigates accidents

Who we are looking for...
Background and Experience
- 1-3 years of Healthy & Safety and Environmental knowledge
- 1-3 years of Product Quality Testing Experience
- Computer Literacy

Interpersonal Skills
- Work is moderately supervised
- Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy
- Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Supervisory approval is obtained on situations where practices and procedures do not exist or where deviations to existing procedures occur
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
