Logoplaste is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the team in Inwood, WV (USA)

Reporting directly to the IT Service Manager, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team.

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the infrastructure environments deployed within the Logoplaste Network and supporting users and user devices.

This position will integrate the second-line support team, which assures the support for all systems, networks, and security, actively participates in all IT projects, but also gives first line support to the local and remote users. We are looking for a person who will focus mainly on the Network, VMware environment, and Projects. Nevertheless, the support of Windows and Linux Systems will also be part of the role.

Support Tasks:

  • Manages active directory users and emails.
  • Manages and supports Office 365 users and applications.
  • Deploys operating systems in computers.
  • Asks for suppliers' support.

Network:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco internetwork environment
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Linux Servers.
  • Monitoring, tuning, and optimizing the network
  • Documenting the network and maintaining network documentation

Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the same or similar position
  • Experience providing remote assistance over the phone or via email
  • Experience in a Windows Active Directory environment.
  • Experience using and supporting cloud solutions (Office 365, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Cisco Command line
  • Familiarity with Linux OS
  • Experience with VMWare a plus

  • Excellent Team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • Autonomous, methodical, structured and well organized
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach to the current role, whilst being an effective communicator at all levels.
  • Good communication, flexibility and reliability;
  • Availability to travel frequently.
