Job Summary
- Monitors the production process, ensuring that planned production volumes are achieved;
- Oversees production activities by operating machines, auxiliary equipment and utilities, performing minor adjustments whenever required;
- Identifies quality deviations or abnormal situations in the production process, taking appropriate corrective action or escalating issues to the Plant Manager when necessary;
- Conducts finished product inspections in accordance with established procedures, ensuring the segregation of non-conforming products;
- Completes all records related to production, self-control, maintenance, cleaning and waste management activities, ensuring data accuracy and reliability;
- Performs required SAP transactions and supports the digital control of production and warehouse operations;
- Controls and manages inventories of preforms, packaging materials, finished goods and technical spare parts, supporting stock counts and inventory activities;
- Supports loading and unloading operations and operates forklifts or other handling equipment when duly authorized and qualified;
- Carries out basic preventive maintenance and cleaning activities for machines, moulds and facilities;
- Participates in the implementation of corrective actions, containment measures and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Assists in equipment inspections and ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);
- Complies with the requirements of the Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Sustainability and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, promoting product compliance, proper waste management and the protection of people and company assets;
- May support the operational coordination of the team and contribute to conflict resolution and the day-to-day management of production activities;
- Performs other duties consistent with the role and for which they are qualified;
- Reports directly to the Plant Manager.
- Minimum secondary education (12th grade) or equivalent;
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment;
- Technical training in an industrial or manufacturing-related field.
- Advanced English proficiency (mandatory);
- Knowledge and skills in electromechanics and/or electrical systems (mandatory);
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems;
- Knowledge of Food Safety standards and requirements;
- Knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety and Hygiene practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
