Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Delivery Systems Supervisor to join the team in Inwood, WV (USA).

The Delivery Systems Supervisor is responsible for supervision and daily functionality of delivery system personnel, High Bay Warehouse (HBW), Low Bay Warehouse (LBW), and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) Systems to support daily operations of Logoplaste (LGP), Technimark (TMK), and P&G. This role will need strong management experience and requisite skills to ensure they can successfully communicate and operate across multiple communication streams, various customers, numerous vendors, and the internal team that comprises the department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow Environmental, Health and Safety system guidelines.
  • Ensure active involvement in the safety process by all team members.
  • Proactive in identifying and addressing unsafe conditions
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment to meet or exceed company established KPI expectations and customer quality expectations
  • Promote and participate in good housekeeping habits to ensure plant appearance exceeds management and customer expectations while meeting required 5s guidelines.
  • Supervise Delivery System Leads (DSL), Control Room Engineers (CRE), and AGV Technicians to meet company expectations in Safety, Quality and Productivity.
  • Ensure the Performance Management system is fully utilized, and corporate HR processes are followed explicitly
  • Build a work environment of respect, inclusion, open communication and teamwork.
  • Develop a culture of participative continuous improvement and develop initiatives to improve operations.
  • Communicate problems, solutions/proposed solutions to problems, progress reports, and continuous improvement ideas to management staff, maintenance, and production personnel as needed
  • Ensuring root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CA) for delivery system impacts to customer performance rating (PR) are performed, shared, and followed up on in the required timelines
  • Proactive in addressing inefficiencies of equipment.
  • Develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Ability to work with fellow employees, customers, vendors and/or contractors as required.
  • Perform tasks as outlined or assigned by Supply Chain Manager
  • Participates in the assessment of crew capabilities working with the Supply Chain Manager and Human Resources to enhance skill set of the group.
  • Assist in the hiring and training process of new staff

COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years relevant experience in department supervisor role or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal written and electronic.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical and sometimes complex topics in an understandable manner
  • Ability to quickly learn computer systems to monitor equipment activities and troubleshoot issues
  • Good working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office and SAP
