Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Control Room Team Lead to join the plant team in Inwood, WV (USA).

The Control Room Lead is responsible for supporting the operation of the Delivery System and coordination of activities within their scope of control. The Control Room Lead is a “hands on” working lead role and may be asked to perform duties of an AGV Technician or Control Room Engineer.

Key Tasks & Activities...

• Supports the direction set forth by manager
• Responsible for providing a safe environment to all delivery system employees, visitors, and temporary labor
• Ensure all employees receive regular safety training in accordance with the safety training program
• Ensure all employees receive and wear their PPE and safety equipment
• Continually monitor delivery systems to ensure maximum efficiency and functionality is maintained at necessary level
• Ensure proper medical attention is provided immediately with any accident and perform the accident investigation promptly
• Actively participate in the safety process and drive behaviour change related to safety
• Support quality process by assuring all employees are completing material movement and adjustment functions as prescribed
• Ensure all non-conforming products are communicated to the appropriate departments to disposition appropriately
• Perform daily audits of delivery system areas and equipment cleanliness making necessary corrections to maintain a “showroom” condition
• Record pertinent on shift data in provided reports to aid in the loss elimination process
• Monitor shift personnel activities as it relates to Company Policy and Procedure
• Perform employee corrective action and disciplinary action with the assistance of Human Resources Manager
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Who we are looking for...

Background and Experience

• Industry experience preferred
• Working knowledge of computer systems, including Excel, Word, Power Point and SAP
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently at a fast pace, constantly changing environment
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Strong sense of urgency
• Accountability
• Self-motivation and the desire to focus on improving the business
• Ability to effectively coordinate and supervise a team

• Ability to sit, climb, stand, crawl, bend and walk on a varying basis throughout assigned work schedule
• Ability to carry and/or lift 50 pounds
