Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Mold Maintenance Mechanic, to join the plant team in Inwood, WV (USA).
The Mold Maintenance Mechanic reports to the Maintenance Manager and Production Manager.
They are responsible for the setup, replacement and cleaning of molds as well as troubleshooting of molding machinery (Husky machines and secondary equipment).
Key Tasks & Activities...
Mold Maintenance
- Sets up molds for sampling
- Cleans molds, bases and secondary equipment
- Replaces mold components
- Removes broken bolt removal
- Disassembles and assembles molds and secondary equipment
Mold Storage and Records
- Tags molds and secondary equipment
- Maintains service and cycle records
- Tests heaters and T/C's
- Complete SAP work orders
Continuous Improvement
- Participates in continuous improvement and troubleshooting issues with molds and secondary equipment
Background and Experience
- 1-3 years experience required
- Specific industry experience
- Knowledge of Extrusion blow molding, Stretch blow molding and/or Injection molding
- Electrical schematic reading and AC/DC knowledge
- US High School diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical/Electrical focused field of study
Technical Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool use knowledge
- General understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of SAP Parts management
