Logomould-USA, a division of Logoplaste Innovation R&D, is seeking to recruit a Mold Maintenance Mechanic for our clean and climate-controlled facility equipped with the latest technology, including the DN Solutions DVF5000 5-Axis Mill and PUMA 2600SY II lathe.

The Mold Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for setting up and operating all necessary equipment in the department to fabricate parts requested by Logoplaste facilities. We are seeking an individual who can work independently, with minimal supervision, to perform machining tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient operations. Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities is essential.

Key Tasks & Activities...

• Set up, maintain, and operate CNC machines.
• Monitor and adjust the cutting process, identify and address mistakes in real-time, and implement corrective measures to prevent errors.
• Continuously optimize machining processes by reducing cycle times, minimizing material waste, and maximizing tool usage.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, uniformity, and quality to uphold company standards.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including lubrication, coolant checks, cleaning, and tool replacements, to ensure machine longevity.

Requirements:

• Experience with CNC 5-Axis Mill and Lathe operations, with a strong understanding of machine code (Fanuc controls preferred).
• Proficiency in manipulating G-Code programs, adjusting work offsets, and updating tool offsets.
• Ability to use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• Competence in reading and interpreting work instructions and engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• CAD/CAM experience (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or HyperMill) is a plus.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
