Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a CNC Machine Operator to integrate the Logomolde team, based in Cascais.

Reporting directly to the Mold Locksmith you will be required to work as an integral part of the team.

Job Summary

CNC Machine (Lathe or Milling) Operator works with a  CNC lathe or a CNC Milling machine, performs all turning/milling work on parts, working from a drawing or model piece. Prepares the machine and, if necessary, the tools used. Dimensionally controls each piece for the work performed.

Key tasks & Activities

Mold Maintenance

• Sets up molds for sampling
• Cleans molds, bases and secondary equipment
• Replaces mold components
• Removes broken bolt removal
• Disassembles and assembles molds and secondary equipment

Mold Storage and Records

• Tags molds and secondary equipment
• Maintains service and cycle records
• Completes SAP work orders

Continuous Improvement

• Participates in continuous improvement and troubleshooting issues with molds and secondary equipment

Who we are looking for…

Background & Experience:

• High School degree
• 1-3 years of experience required
• Specific industry experience, knowledge of injection molding systems and molds, electrical schematic reading and AC/DC knowledge
• Strong mechanical aptitude and tool use knowledge, general understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Technical Skill

• Mechanical or electrical industrial knowledge

Interpersonal Skills

• Able to work independently, identifying problems and improve
• Proactivity
