Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Quality Supervisor, to join the team in MARTINSBURG, WV (USA).
 
Reporting to: Plant Manager
 

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for maintaining quality control processes and providing leadership to all levels in quality related issues.

 
Key Tasks & Activities...
 
- Responsible for ensuring that all processes are in line with the established Integrated Management System
- Provide guidance and interpretation to the teams on IMS procedures
- Create and manage all quality control procedures and policies at the plant
- Create and manage risk management tool
- Provide “hands on” quality support and guidance to all levels of staff
- Manage and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- General and analyse reliability and failure statistics to eradicate systematic problems
- Audit and monitor the supply chain and drive continuous improvement throughout the company
- Process data using SAP and prepare KPI reports for monthly operations meetings
- Implement quality testing methods
- Organize training programs
- Organize trials for new products
- Manager and coordinate analysis of quality control data to make corrective actions where necessary
- Manage compliance of GMP guidelines
- Implement statistical methods to ensure improvements are made
- Manage raw material receiving/COA’s from supplier
- Communicate with customers professionally
- Maintain quality product by assuring all employees are completing quality checks and product is in specification
- Participates in continues improvement of the facility
- Ensures that housekeeping standards are met throughout the facility
- Assures that all plant Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures are followed and ensures employees are held accountable for non-compliance
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
 
Who we are looking for...
Background and Experience
- 2+ years prior experience in a quality role in a manufacturing facility
- Recognized academic or professional qualifications with the ability to demonstrate strong experience in quality assurance or process improvement
- Blow mold/Extrusion/Injection experience preferred

Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Integrated Systems (ISO/AIB/etc.)
- Experience with Statistical Process Control
- Experience in TQM, Six Sigma, SAP-QM
- Working knowledge of computer systems, including Excel, Word, Power Point and SAP

Interpersonal Skills
- Good interpersonal skills required in order to interact with direct reports, other staff and customers
