Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a M&A Analyst to integrate the Strategy & Marketing department.

Reporting directly to the Strategy & M&A Specialist, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team.

Job Summary

The M&A Analyst works on M&A transactions and on the integration of acquisitions. The person will prepare detailed quantitative analysis on companies that are of interest to Logoplaste, documentation for decision making (such as valuation models and presentation materials) and be part of the deal team. Is expected to support in acquisition negotiations (financial due diligence, legal due diligence, structuring, financing), among others. In addition, supports the integration of the companies post acquisition by working with Logoplaste and acquired company teams delivering detailed analysis on integration synergies for all areas, such as Finance, IT, HR and Operations.


Key tasks & Activities

M&A Preparation

  • Has a curious mind and is able to understand an industrial set up and summarize what are the drivers of the business;
  • Is able to read through financial statements and legal documents to gather information on companies;
  • Manages to prepare summarized insights from complex data, mostly financial but not only;
  • Gathers and analyzes vast amounts of information and summarizes in working documents that are used for decision making;
  • Structures messages and backs them with figures to be presented at board level.



  • Builds the financial models for valuation purposes;
  • Acts in a support role in negotiation processes on the financial, legal, structuring and financing phases;
  • Works with external advisors in the context of Due Diligence or negotiation processes.


Acquisition Integration

  • Takes part of the integration team to ensure Logoplaste extracts the value from the acquisitions;
  • Acts as in support of the Logoplaste dedicated teams (Finance/Tax/Financing/IT/operations/HR) to ensure Logoplaste acquisition goals are met.


Ad Hoc Marketing & Strategy tasks

- Participates in other Marketing and Strategy projects, being it on the sales excellence side, support to CEO with data analysis and external presentations.


Background and Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience required in a similar position;
  • Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics;
  • Genuine curiosity for industrial companies and processes;
  • Previous experience in building financial Models.


Technical Skills

  • Fluent in English (mandatory);
  • Microsoft Office advanced level, specially Excel;
  • Advanced Valuation skills, reasonable understanding of Corporate and M&A law (not only portuguese).


Interpersonal Skills

  • Good interpersonal skills are important as the person will deal and contact with many external contacts and will have the responsibility to gather information from many sources;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with different teams;
  • Team player and flexible with a proactive attitude;
  • Good analytical skills.
